Well hello there, Sunday morning, we meet again! I hope everyone has had a fantastic and productive week! I’m finally getting back on track after being pretty sick, and super organized and productive Amber is making a major comeback.
For those of you who may be new to my blog, Sunday Morning Coffee is a post I do every Sunday to recap my week and share some links that I’ve loved around blogland. Since we all have crazy weeks (hello midterms) and may not have the time to get around to sharing everything or read all of our favorite blogs. I love putting this together so all you have to do is curl up with a good cup of coffee and enjoy.
This Week I…
>> Discovered the joys of coffee with soy milk in lieu of half and half! Why didn’t anyone tell me?! I usually despise milk in my coffee (thank my coffee & cream loving dad for that) but this was literally happiness in a cup. My dark roast just became that much better.
>> Took a personality assessment. The lovely Erika of Chimerikal suggested to me that I take the Myers-Briggs personality test a while ago, and I finally got around to doing it. It determined that I am an ENFJ, which I’m pretty sure Erika guessed right off the bat! You can read all about us ENFJs here.
>> Survived another semester of midterm exams. I don’t know why, but I always feel like Fall semester midterms just sneak up on me.
>> Had a great Homecoming Weekend! I loved getting to see friends and sorority sisters who have graduated. It’s great having everyone excited and in one place, and that game was great! Go Owls!!

>> NEW SERIES ALERT!! The amazing and super sweet Laura of Inspiration Sparks reached out to me and some other awesome ladies to participate in a new series all about life and love as a military significant other. The series is called A Modern Woman’s (Non FRG) Guide to Life and Love. Check out the introductory post here and my own post in the series all about “The Talk” here. The women participating in this series are so kind and brave to open up about such an intimate part of their lives, and the line up of posts is incredible!
>> Are you having a bad day, or a bad attitude? I absolutely loved this post by Melyssa of The Nectar Collective. Her posts are always filled with positive and helpful messages.
>> Nicole at Treasure Tromp’s awkward and awesome posts are always super entertaining. This week, she gave us the whale watching edition! I must say, the awkward moments were extremely awkward!!
>> I felt like Crystal and I both had to vent in our posts this past Friday. She shared an amazing post (with some pretty awesome Clueless references) about balancing being liked and taking the opinions of others too seriously. Whose opinion really matters to you?
Have a great Sunday and pour up the java!
