Good things come to those who work hard & hustle.
Wake up every morning in the full understanding that you have the power and the purpose to make things happen. Our lives are the result of actions we take or allow to pass by. Play an active role in what you want, push yourself to new limits often, don’t limit your potential. Be confident, be mindful, be humble and be active.
Seek out balance in mind, body and soul.
Strive to maintain a life filled with balance. Work hard, but never at the cost of losing yourself. Love yourself more than things. Treat yourself the way that you hope others will treat you. Know that you get out of the universe everything that you put into it.
Surround yourself with people who will support your vision, even if they don’t understand it. Do not feel guilty for removing negative people from your life. Aim to be a good friend, show compassion and forgive easily.
Success comes to the transparent & the authentic.
What you are is good enough. Don’t try to become a copy of someone else in hopes of attaining things not meant for you. Trust that your goals, your vision and potential are enough to make things happen. Be authentic to who you are, always. Demonstrate who you really are at all times, don’t hide behind what you think others want.
Always put quality over quantity.
More things does not always mean more. Appreciate the small things that bring great joy over having more things that bring temporary happiness. Avoid clutter. A few great things are far more valuable than mass amounts of meaningless objects. Fill your life wisely.
Find your gift & give it away.
We all have a gift inside of us that we are meant to find and share with everyone else. Don’t withhold your gift from the world. Treating yourself well enables you to better present your gift. Do not allow bitterness, fear or hate stop you from realizing and manifesting your gift.
I started this blog for so many reasons, but the manifesto above is the culmination of everything I hope this space achieves. Here, I hope that we become brave enough to be transparent and authentic. I hope that we become empowered to discover our gifts, and smart enough to give them away in ways that fill us up instead of depleting us. My wish is that the quality of each post add more quality to the lives of each reader. But most importantly, I hope we are all motivated to move, work and make things happen. That is Ember & March.
